Anima Anandkumar and Fei-Fei Li (MS '02, PhD '05) Named AI2050 Senior Fellows by Schmidt Futures

Anima Anandkumar, Bren Professor of Computing and Mathematical Sciences, and Fei-Fei Li (MS ’02, PhD ’05), a Caltech distinguished alumna, have been selected to the second cohort of AI2050 Fellows, sponsored by Schmidt Futures.

AI2050 is a program to “support talented individuals working to ensure AI’s benefit to society” by 2050. Collectively, the 2023 cohort of Senior Fellows have been awarded $7 million to pursue individual, two-year projects focused on the most challenging problems in their respective fields.
