From Quanta Magazine: Machine Learning Aids Classical Modeling of Quantum Systems

By combining a new way of modeling quantum systems with increasingly sophisticated machine learning algorithms, researchers, led by John Preskill [Richard P. Feynman Professor of Theoretical Physics; Allen V. C. Davis and Lenabelle Davis Leadership Chair, Institute for Quantum Science and Technology] have established a method for classical machines to model and predict quantum behavior.
