Abstract: The task of quantum teleportation tells us that classical bits can be used to teleport a quantum state given shared entanglement. Thinking about black holes led to a surprising variant of this protocol. Outside of holography, The purely quantum mechanical explanation for this mechanism is related to operator size. I'll share results demonstrating this wormhole inspired teleportation from available quantum hardware. Based on arXiv:2205.14081.
Lunch will be provided, following the talk, on the lawn north of the Bridge Arcade
